Award/Agreement Details Explained (Award/Agreement)

🎯 Award/Agreement Details is the first section within Award/Agreement and defines the Agreement, Rate Per Hour or Annual Salary (Excluding SG).

 

 

Active allows you to select if this Award/Agreement is inactive. If this Award/Agreement is assigned to an Active Payee and Active is deselected, the Deactivate Award/Agreement Alert (Modal) is displayed.

 

The Award & Agreement Radio Buttons allow you to select if this is an Award or Agreement. The section determines which fields are required.

 

The P.A.C.T (Pay And Conditions Tool) Button is displayed when Award is selected. When selected, the Fair Work Ombudsman Pay Calculator opens.

 

The E.A. Button is displayed when Agreement is selected. When selected, the Fair Work Commission Enterprise Agreement Lookup opens.

 

Underpinning Award is displayed when Agreement is selected and requires you to select the Award the base requirements were obtained from when creating the Agreement.

 

Modern Award is displayed when Award is selected and requires you to select the Award the Payees Employment conditions are based on.

 

The Link Icon is displayed next to Underpinning Award Modern Award once an option has been selected, and opens the URL for the specific Award you have selected.

e.g. Clerks—Private Sector Award 2020 {MA000002}

 

Award Name is displayed when Award is selected, and requires you to manually enter the Name as required when Modern Award is set to National Employment Standards (NES), QLD Award or WA Award.

 

Agreement Name is displayed when Agreement is selected and requires you to manually enter the name as required.

 

Classification is displayed for both Award & Agreement and requires you to either select or enter the Classification as required manually.

 

OTE Hours Per Week is automatically populated with 38.00 and allows you to change as required.

 

Days Per Week is automatically populated with 5.00 and allows you to change as required.

 

When 

  • Award is selected, Rate Per Hour is populated from the Fair Work API based on the Classification selected.
  • Agreement is selected, Rate Per Hour allows you to manually enter the Full Time Rate for the Classification under this Agreement.

 

Annual Salary (Excluding SG) is dynamically calculated based on the OTE Hours Per Week multiplied by the Rate Per Hour. This field also allows you to manually enter the required Annual Salary to dynamically calculate the Rate per Hour.

 

Hours Per Day is dynamically calculated based on the OTE Hours Per Week divided by the Days Per Week.

 

Per Week (estimate) is dynamically calculated based on the OTE Hours Per Week multiplied by the Rate Per Hour.

 

State allows you to select the State to which the Award or Agreement is applicable. Sometimes, an Award or Agreement may apply in multiple states, but the Rate per Hour differs.
