Pay Template Explained (Payee Master File)

🎯 Pay Template is the fifth section within Employment and Payment Details and is used to define the default Pay Types that need to be pre-loaded on the Pay Run Process page.

 

Basic and Advanced Pay Template allows you to select which Pay Types must be pre-loaded in the Pay Run for the relevant Payee. 

 

Basic uses the quantity coded based on the Paid By option selected within the Pay Type and either the Rate Per Hour defined within Employment Details or the Rate set within the Pay Type selected. In contrast, Advanced allows you to define the Quantity and Rate within the Payee.

 

Basic Pay Template

 

Within Basic Pay Template,  Payment Type allows you to select which Pay Rate, Allowance or Deductions need to be pre-loaded within Process for the required Payee.

 

Add allows you to add the new Pay Type.

 

Delete allows you to delete the selected Pay Type once Save is selected.

 

If the Pay Type has been saved previously, the Delete Icon will update to Undo, allowing you to reverse the changes. The account will not be deleted until Save is selected.

Advanced Pay Template

 

Within Advanced Pay Template, Payment Type allows you to select which Pay Rates, Allowances and/or Deductions need to be pre-loaded within Process for the required Payee. Once the Pay Type has been selected, the Quantity and Rate can be amended as required.

Add allows you to add the new Pay Type.

 

Delete allows you to delete the selected Pay Type once Save is selected.

 

If the Pay Type has been saved previously, the Delete Icon will update to Undo, allowing you to reverse the changes. The account will not be deleted until Save is selected.
